The Helen Shapiro tour continued this evening at the Embassy Cinema in Peterborough, with Peter Jay and the Jaywalkers taking over The Beatles' spot for one night. The lads spent the day traveling to London in anticipation of a long day of recording for their first LP at EMI Abbey Road on 11 February.
That evening, The Beatles held a lengthy photo session in Sloane Square with photographer Cyrus Andrews.
