Dear Dave,

Many thanks for your letter. It would be a great pleasure for the boys to appear at Stowe, but I must advise you that they are heavily booked and I cannot make much allowance with regard to their fee. However, I am prepared to arrange a mid-week appearance for a fee of £100.
