25 March 1963
The Beatles spent this "day off" from the Montez/Roe tour traipsing around Liverpool, posing for Dezo Hoffmann's camera.
They began the day at the Cavern Club.
Next stop was the Horne Brothers hairdressers in Lord Street, where they all had a trim and Ringo's hair was styled into a Beatle cut.
The barbershop chairs used that day were auctioned by Bonhams in June 2009.
They drove on in Paul's Ford Consul 315 to Allerton Golf Course, where they shot some film with Dezo's movie camera and leapt into the air.
They wound up at the McCartney family home at nearby 20 Forthlin Road.
